Since BeachBarbie mentioned this song, I thought I'd post it. He came out of the Austin, TX music scene. I always thought he looked a lot like Matt Dillon. I never knew anyone who's heard of Charlie Sexton, so I think it's so cool that you know who he is BeachBarbie.

3I can't stream vids but this reminds me of a story about my old neighbor.
Before Mr. Books and I married, we used to stay in this townhouse and had a neighbor named Bill. He was an old vet that always kept his front door open and would be sitting on his couch with a beer. He would catch us everyday for a chat before I could even unlock the front door but anyway! One day my brother-in-law was staying with us and had a bunch of girls over at the house. He stopped us heading in and said, "Hey man! I see all them pretty young ladies you have over there. Ha ha ha, you know, they don't call me Bill Sexton for nothing!"
So of course everytime I hear that name now, I always think of that!
