This film came out in 1985, and starred Lewis Smith (Buckaroo Banzai), Jane Kaczmarek (Malcom in the Middle), and Jason Gedrick (Iron Eagle). The plot is pretty much about a James Deanish guy dies in a car accident, and in order to get into heaven must be guardian angel to his son (although he doesn't realize is his son). It's a cute film, and here is my favorite scene of the film.
